– Our After School Clubs offer the opportunity for a small group of children or young people to access, develop and/or improve an outdoor area within their school grounds.
Participants are encouraged to become advocates for this area and to do so we actively get them involved with the decision-making of what they would like to see and do during their sessions by discussing the broad range of activities CET officers can deliver. Our seasonal practical activities include conservation, gardening, habitat creation, nature arts and crafts, and installing new features, such as a fire circle, shelter/den.
These extended periods of learning allow like-minded children/young people to connect, share and appreciate others’ knowledge and skills, as well as keep them safe, active and engaged after school hours have ended.
